Romantics will be drawn to our Historic rooms, where we’ve recreated a golden age of decadence. It’s all about the grand gesture here. Or upgrade to a Historic suite where you can look forward to a feature bed as well as a lounge area and sofa and period features like original fireplaces and wooden beams. But the devil's in the detail as well. The décor is refined and top-end extras come courtesy of The Signature Experience.
Just back after a wonderful weekend break stayed in Room 101 a contemporary royale room which was beautifully renovated with tasteful decorations and a massive walk-in shower and beautiful view overlooking the gardens. The room was very cosy and warm can’t understand people saying it was cold.We dined in the bistro restaurant and food and choice excellent. Enjoyed Elton on Friday and re take that on Saturday didn’t enjoy Robbie on Sunday not because of his singing but was much too loud and room vibrating left after 20mins which was a shame has did many. Grounds are stunning excellent staff. will be back so time in the future.
Coming to the end of a 4 night break at Holme Lacy and just thought we'd share our thoughts. Accommodation excellent in historic room with lake view. Food excellent with plenty of choice and the diet has gone out of the window. We have really enjoyed the entertainment and the whole team work jolly hard to ensure you have a great time. Lovely friendly atmosphere and love resident band Stax. Will return in the future.
Our room itself was, as always, fine. The let down was that it was overlooked by the angle of the window of another room being at right angles to ours. With only a pull down blind this was a nuisance as privacy was limited. Room 421.
Other than that we had a brilliant weekend due to the amazing staff there.
The entertainment team work so hard and make every guest feel special.
The grounds are AWSOME all credit to the groundsman & crew. There are so many different areas to explore or to just sit & relax and take in the views.
Peace perfect peace.
