Historic Rooms at Holme Lacy House Hotel are for that special treat featuring a feature bed as well as a lounge area, original fireplaces and wooden beams Spacious Large Bedroom.
Just back after a wonderful weekend break stayed in Room 101 a contemporary royale room which was beautifully renovated with tasteful decorations and a massive walk-in shower and beautiful view overlooking the gardens. The room was very cosy and warm can’t understand people saying it was cold.We dined in the bistro restaurant and food and choice excellent. Enjoyed Elton on Friday and re take that on Saturday didn’t enjoy Robbie on Sunday not because of his singing but was much too loud and room vibrating left after 20mins which was a shame has did many. Grounds are stunning excellent staff. will be back so time in the future.
Coming to the end of a 4 night break at Holme Lacy and just thought we'd share our thoughts. Accommodation excellent in historic room with lake view. Food excellent with plenty of choice and the diet has gone out of the window. We have really enjoyed the entertainment and the whole team work jolly hard to ensure you have a great time. Lovely friendly atmosphere and love resident band Stax. Will return in the future.
Our room itself was, as always, fine. The let down was that it was overlooked by the angle of the window of another room being at right angles to ours. With only a pull down blind this was a nuisance as privacy was limited. Room 421.
Other than that we had a brilliant weekend due to the amazing staff there.
The entertainment team work so hard and make every guest feel special.
The grounds are AWSOME all credit to the groundsman & crew. There are so many different areas to explore or to just sit & relax and take in the views.
Peace perfect peace.
After making booking for Holme Lacey I was very concerned by some negative reviews, but I need not have worried. We were met as soon as we pulled up in car and given directions to car park and map showing where our room was. Also offered help with luggage. Good table in Bistro with friendly staff. Plenty of choice on the menu, food arrived hot and prompt.
Entertainment was excellent particularly Lisa with her quizzes, all in all a very enjoyable stay at Holme Lacey, including a spot of pampering in the spa.
Spent 4 days 3 nights at this. Warner Hotel. Not what you expect from the Warner’s group. Lovely old building, which has been converted to a Hotel. 2 main restaurants and a very large Theatre and entertainment centre. Outdoor activities for every body of all ages and abilities. Waitress service at the table for Breakfast which is vast, excellent choices for all. Rooms were large with extra large beds and on suite plus toiletries supplied. Great spa and swimming pool. Will definitely go again
