This is the first time stayed at a Warner Hotel and wont be the last. Was a little apprehensive after booked as read so many negative reviews so did not know what to expect. However need not have worried as found everything was great. From check in to leaving. The room a was clean and welcoming. All the staff were attentive and pleasant, nothing to much trouble. Enjoyed the meals both dinner and breakfast. Plenty of choice, well presented and good quality. No idea how guests could say not enough. There was plenty to eat and was constantly asked if wanted anything else. Overall a very enjoyable four night stay.

Warner at it's best!!
I've visited nearly all the Warner hotels and with COVID I was slightly worried about going to Holme Lacy Hotel. But there COVID safety procedure was very good. Only a few guests seem to ignore parts of it. But Holme Lacy Hotel was Brilliant. The shows and daytime entertainment was amazing as usual. The visiting acts were great and the food was very good. Though it's no longer self-service. the waiting team was happy to taylor the meals as the guests requested. If you've never been to a Warner Hotel I'd really recommend it. A great break. My only criticism is the price is very dear. I always wait for the sales but even then it's still expensive. But over all a great break.

Brilliant break
I really can't imagine which Warner Holme Lacy Hotel that the moaners on here, went to! My wife and I have just returned from a four day break and found the following :- Everywhere safe and protected, food excellent and plenty of it, staff attentive and cheerful, room very comfortable, entertainment first class and west end standard.

Great break despite restrictions
We have just returned from a seven day stay at Warner Leisure’s Holme Lacy House Hotel in Hereford. Having followed it on Facebook and seeing some people complain about the food we wanted to see what may have given them reason for the complaints. From the start check in went smoothly. Our room was spacious comfortable and well presented. Even though the tea/coffee was reduced, due to Covid, a phone call to reception would result in more being delivered. We found the new eating arrangements to be OK. Different tables most times but not a problem. The servers had new hand held devices for taking the orders. The menu’s had a good choice on them. Unfortunately there was only 4 different menus’ and therefore as we were there for 7 days we had the same menus. The standard of the food was as we had expected, excellent. The size of the portions was small compared to what you could have had before but was actually the correct amount. When you have a buffet style of menu people tend to have larger portions, this makes the current portions look like WLH have reduced them. The entertainment and the activities were excellent under the current circumstances. Overall we had a good time and have already booked another 4 day break later this year. The only down side was that no one could explain why at the pets cemetery it said that there was four graves when there is actually five.
