Warner Hotels serve up a home-from-home ambience and lots of personal touches. All that’s left is for you to provide the sweetest of dreams.
Rooms or accommodation may vary from hotel to hotel.
We were met at the door by the welcome staff who checked us in swiftly and took our baggage up to the rooms. They were not expecting us to arrive by coach (last minute change of plan on our part!) but quickly accommodated us anyway, for which we were grateful!
Very pleasant staff.
This was our third visit over a 12 year span. Some parts of the venue looking a bit tired nowadays, mainly flaking paint on the high ceilings and the stage looking a bit battered but nothing major, with an awareness that these things would cost a small fortune! Pool area is ok, steam room smelled a little stale though.
Rooms were great as usual. We had signature rooms. Love having proper milk in the fridge! The grounds are great- we had many walks. Entertainment staff happy chatty and obliging. The reception staff were fabulous! We had a few queries that they attended to without any fuss.
Food was great (we all put weight on!), served swiftly, and entertainment was fine, as you would expect at a Warner venue. Comedian a little tired, but Cilla was good and the resident band entertained us well.
Some of us had treatments which were great and the spa staff were super.
We had a fabulous time as usual. It’s our relaxation, wind down break from work.
My family and I have just had a wonderful holiday at Holme Lacy we had beautiful rooms with lovely garden views. The food was superb, the evening entertainment excellent the entertainment team amazing and so talented. \we walked around all the lovely gardens and the lakes, it was a very relaxing holiday. We swam in the lovely pool . My husband and myself enjoyed our little visitors every morning Donald duck and his friends. We are definitely going to book for a week next year and can`t wait so thank you to all the lovely and helpful staff.
We visited over the August bank holiday weekend and were blessed with fantastic weather. The grounds are beautiful and the gravel drives were still suitable for a wheelchair because the gravel wasn't too thick. Other Warner hotels haven't been as accessible but Holme Lacy was very good. We were in ground floor rooms and we didn't have too far to go to the restaurant or the entertainment. Our rooms were very comfortable (a bit hot at night because there's no aircon) although we had a bit of a problem with flying ants in the bathroom one morning. Maintenance were very prompt but we couldn't work out where they were coming from!
We thought there was a good choice of food and the young man, Elliot, who was serving us, worked his socks off the whole weekend. There appears to be fewer staff these days at Warner hotels but they all work hard.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable weekend, with the Neil Diamond tribute being the highlight.
